“Inspired by the illustrations adorning classic bodice-rippers and pulp fiction paperbacks,
Stain features super-sized close-cropped watercolor portraits of Prada models in a weirls of color
that borders on the lurid. The collage is comprised of fragments of original paintings
by illustrator Marcela Gutiérrez recombined in a full-wall composition.”

Nostalgia. Working at the Alexander McQueen studio in 2005.
I just came across this old polaroid that was taken when I was working in the Alexander McQueen studio on this hand painted helmet inspired on the Japanese painting “The Great Wave” by Hokusai and chinese tattoos.
This was one of the showpieces for the Spring Summer 2005 collection…

With my own eyes…
Feeling a little bit nostalgic. I just wanted to share one of the happiest and proudest moments of my life. When I went to see the Prada Flagship store in NYC with my wallpaper. It was a fun experience because they opened the shop a little earlier so that I may take some pictures with my work. For a dreamy moment I felt as if the space was mine.
